Σας προσκαλούμε στην παρουσίαση μας στο Hellenic Centre στο Λονδίνο στις 17 Νοεμβρίου 2023 - «Όταν βρίσκεσαι σε ένα δωμάτιο σκοτεινό, μαθαίνεις να κάνεις μια κίνηση απλή, να πατάς τον διακόπτη και να ανάβεις το φως… απλό δεν είναι;»
Για κάποιους η ζωή είναι μια περιπέτεια, όμορφη ή άσχημη. Για άλλους ένα ταξίδι, απλό ή περίπλοκο, για μερικούς είναι βουνό που δύσκολα το ανεβαίνεις και υπάρχουν κι αυτοί που τη θεωρούν ως θαύμα ανεξάρτητα από τις δυσκολίες ή τις ευκολίες που μπορεί να υπάρχουν.
Υπάρχει άραγε ο μίτος της Αριάδνης να μας βγάλει από τον λαβύρινθο; Και που συναντιούνται το σωκρατικό γνώθι σαυτόν, η επιστήμη, η τέχνη, η φιλοσοφία με την απλή πράξη στην καθημερινότητά μας; Ο κόσμος είναι όπως τον βλέπεις; Και τι σημαίνει «βλέπω» στην περίπτωση αυτή; Και τελικά… μπορεί να είναι κάτι τόσο απλό, όπως το να πατήσεις τον διακόπτη και να ανάψεις το φως σε ένα σκοτεινό δωμάτιο;
Ας το ανακαλύψουμε μέσα από μια πλούσια εικονογραφημένη και πολυδιάστατη παρουσίαση συνοδευόμενη από χοροδρώμενα, βιβλιοαναγνώσεις, βίντεο και πολλά ακόμα. Η παρουσίαση θα γίνει σε ελληνικά και αγγλικά.
We invite you to our presentation at the Hellenic Centre, London in 17th of November 2023 – “When you are in a dark room, you learn to do a simple move: to push the switch and turn on the light… simple, isn’t it?”
For some, life is an adventure, a beautiful or challenging one. For others, it is a simple or complicated journey or a mountain difficult to climb, and there are those who consider it a miracle regardless of any difficulties or conveniences that may exist.
One wonders then, does the thread of Ariadne, which can lead us out of the labyrinth, exist? And where do the Socratic “know thyself”, science, Art and philosophy meet the simple actions in our everyday lives? Is the world the way you see it? And what does “see” mean in this instance? And, in the end… can it be something so simple as pushing the switch and turning on the light in a dark room?
Let us discover the answers to all these through a richly illustrated and multidimensional presentation accompanied by chorodromena, book readings, videos and much more. The presentation will be done in both Greek and English.
